Abu Dhabi’s Ultimate Family Entertainment Event Mother of the Nation Festival is Now Open

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 8th December 2021: Families and fun-seekers will be flocking to Abu Dhabis Corniche from tomorrow as the hugely popular Mother of the Nation (MOTN) Festival makes its much-anticipated return to the UAE capital.

Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), and running from December 9 - 18, the event will include unmissable attractions such as performances by renowned international and regional artists, a symphony of global flavours served up by well-known food vendors, unique activations for all ages, a dedicated shopping district featuring luxury retail brands and much, much more.

The extravaganza will provide residents and tourists with access to a host of extraordinary activities across six zones, along with plenty of instagrammable opportunities. In addition, to ensure thPromotionse safety of visitors, vendors and organisers, the MOTN Festival will comply with the Go Safe Certification, a pioneering programme launched by DCT Abu Dhabi to enforce global standards of hygiene at hotels, events, attractions and venues across the emirate.

Inspire Space

Instagram fame awaits people in the Inspire Space, with some of the most picturesque displays curated to surely make their way onto your profiles and feeds.

Amusement Park

Get ready for plenty of family fun with a glimpse into some of the best amusement parks in the world and access a series of exciting games, carnival rides, engaging workshops, and more for all age groups.

Food Hub

The Food Hub will feature a curated menu by global and local FB vendors offering gastronomical experiences to suit every visitor. There will also be a larger-than-life art installation by Daniel Popper, and a stage showcasing the best local musicians and DJs.

Shopping District

Featuring an array of retail options, including a dedicated section for high-end luxury brands, including pre-loved pieces by Balmain, Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, among others.

For every visitor who needs a dose of action, the Thrill Zoneis designed for you to experience adrenaline-pumping adventures.

Music Arena

The festivals Main Stage within the Music Arena will bring the event to life through spectacular performances by renowned international stars along with a fine selection of regional artists.

Health and Safety Guidelines

In line with the government regulations, the following guidelines apply to all visitors attending the MOTN Festival:

• Attendees aged 16 years and above must show vaccinated status and the Green Pass on the Al Hosn app.
• Attendees below the age of 16 years do not require a PCR test.
• DPI tests will not be accepted.

Held at the Abu Dhabi Corniche,MOTN 2021 will run from December 9 18, from 4pm to midnight during weekdays, and from 2pm to midnight on weekends.
