Abdul Rahman Honored as Chef De Cuisine of the Year Silver at the Middle East Chef Excellence Awards 2024
Abdul Rahman, the highly skilled Chef de Cuisine at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort, was honored with the prestigious silver award for Chef de Cuisine of the Year at the 7th Middle East Chef Excellence Awards 2024.
Hozpitality Group organized the gala event, which was held on June 7th at JW Marriott Dubai Marina. Jeyaram Subramanian from Taaza Quality Foods LLC presented the award.
Abdul Rahman has always aspired to take on challenging roles within the hotel industry. He aims to contribute significantly to organizational goals while developing his skills across all culinary sections with complete dedication and passion for food knowledge. His impressive journey in the culinary world is marked by a series of significant achievements and a wealth of experience that underscores his capabilities.
Abdul Rahman's extensive career in the culinary industry is characterized by his diverse and rich experience across various prestigious establishments. Currently serving as the Chef De Cuisine at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort since August 2023, Abdul has demonstrated his culinary prowess and leadership skills. Before this, he held the position of Chef De Cuisine for ADD & Banqueting at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah from September 2022 to August 2023, where he excelled in menu engineering and managing large-scale culinary operations. His tenure at Bab Al Qasr Hotel in Abu Dhabi spanned over six years, where he served in multiple roles, including Chef De Cuisine and Sous Chef for the main kitchen and large conference banqueting cuisine. During his time there, he meticulously managed menu planning, stock control, and food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.
Abdul's experience also includes his role as Sous Chef at Hyatt Regency Dubai, where he was instrumental in overseeing food production, menu planning, and training kitchen staff. His early career saw him excel as Chef de partie and demi chef at various renowned establishments, such as Al Dawaar Buffet Restaurant and Focaccia Italian Cuisine. Additionally, Abdul served as a Commis Chef at The Westin Dubai, where he honed his culinary skills and laid a strong foundation for his future roles.
Abdul Rahman holds a diploma in hotel management from SRM Institute, where he graduated with first-class honors, further solidifying his expertise and commitment to the culinary arts. His educational background and extensive professional experience have equipped him with the skills and knowledge to excel in the dynamic and demanding culinary industry.
