Khanderao Vetal, HR Manager, Hotel Sea Princess Mumbai Bags Promising HR Person of the Year

Khanderao Vetal, HR Manager, Hotel Sea Princess Mumbai, received the Judges Choice Award as the most Promising HR Person of the Year at the virtual ceremony for the 2nd Indian Hospitality Excellence Awards, organized by the Hozpitality Group on November 11, 2022. 

After graduating from Pune University, Khanderao studied Master of Labour Studies at Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies in Mumbai and started his carrier in 1991 in Hotel Industry as Junior Personnel Officer. Khanderao has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality Industry.

Khanderao thinks that working in the hospitality sector has given him a lot of knowledge, shaped him, and elevated him to a remarkable position. And that the keys to a prosperous career in Hospitality are honesty, loyalty, courtesy, and punctuality. 

The message Khanderao has for the younger generation is "No one can halt the younger generation's advancement in hospitality if they adhere to these four principles. If the new qualified generation wants to succeed in the hotel sector, they should stick to the industry's general norms, exercise patience, and refrain from taking shortcuts." 

Prior to working at the spectacular Sea Princess Hotel, Khanderao worked for Ambassador Hotel Mumbai, Choice Group of Hospitality, ITC- Fortune

Navi Mumbai, Kohinoor Continental, Best Western Chain, Radha Krishna Hospitality, etc. 

Due to his extensive experience in the field, Khanderao has closely examined the changes the hotel sector has undergone over the past three decades. Kindness, empathy, and heart leadership are values that Khanderao firmly upholds in the workplace. 

Khanderao committed to learning and self-development because he had good exposure to industrial relations and because doing so would enable him to produce superior results consistently. The members of Khanderao's team regard him as an inspirational leader and mentor. He has maintained his approach throughout a trying time in development. To assist them in achieving their long-term professional objectives, Khanderao offers support to junior team members.
