Hili Rayhaan by Rotana organized a Blood Donation Day in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Blood Bank Services.
06th July, 2022- Hili Rayhaan by Rotana in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Blood Bank Services organized a blood donation day held 05th July, 2022, in an effort to educate the community about the importance of donating blood to help saving lives.
This Corporate Social Responsibility initiative aims to spread awareness among its colleagues on the benefits of donating blood and engage them to support the community. A total of 28 successful donors out of 44 volunteers contributed to the success of this campaign.
Apart from the known benefits of blood donation, the true reward is knowing that we have helped save lives. Donating blood may seem like a simple decision, but to the people it helps, it’s anything but simple. We are our strongest when we work together to support each other.
The blood donation campaign was accompanied by an awareness-raising activity within Hili Rayhaan by Rotana during which the colleagues were briefed on a set of instructions that should be followed the day before blood donation and within 24 hours after the donation.
Ibrahim Addam – General Manager, Hili Rayhaan by Rotana said: “We recognized the importance of such initiatives in saving lives, especially during these challenging time. I salute everyone who participated and donated blood as this will benefit a lot of people who are in need”.
