Grand Millennium Business Bay Appoints Anu Van Der Sande as Director of Marketing and Communication
Grand Millennium Business Bay has a new Director of Marketing & Communications. Anu van der Sande steps into the role to assume the leadership of the hotel's marketing strategies.
With a Bachelor's Degree from Hotelschool The Hague in the Netherlands, she has worked for over eight years in the Dubai hospitality sector. Anu started her career with Marriott International, moved to Media One Hotel in 2019, and recently joined the Grand Millennium Business Bay.
Grand Millennium Business Bay, headed up by General Manager Andrea Strim, is located in the city's vibrant heart in South Downtown Dubai, along the Dubai Water Canal, and close to iconic attractions. The 20-storey property boasts five signature restaurants & bars, including Bella Restaurant & Lounge, Lock, Stock & Barrel and the upcoming Asia Asia Restaurant with partners Solutions Leisure, fully equipped meeting & conference facilities with natural daylight, a wellness floor and 251 guest rooms and suites with stunning views of Downtown Dubai.
Speaking about her appointment, she said: "I'm excited to join Grand Millennium Business Bay and Andrea Strim's team in creating memorable guest experiences throughout the hotel. I have had the pleasure of being able to work through different market segments and look forward to creating some magic with the team here."
"Anu's passion will allow us to unlock new business opportunities and offer value through the creation of inspiring content and activities. Her experience within the Dubai MarComm market is highly valuable for our hotel and will be of great assistance in positioning the hotel into the luxury segment, relaunching Beau Rivage Restaurant and the further establishment of Bella Restaurant & Lounge, recently awarded with the ASACERT Certification, thus becoming the first overseas Italian restaurant to be considered 100% Italian. We couldn't be more pleased to bring Anu onboard in this year of exciting developments for Grand Millennium Business Bay," said Andrea Strim.
