Grand Mercure Dubai City is delighted to introduce Deepak Singh as the newly appointed Cluster Executive Housekeeper, effective from March 2024.
We are thrilled to announce the latest addition to our team, Deepak, who has assumed the role of Cluster Executive Housekeeper for Grand Mercure Dubai City and ibis Styles Dubai Airport. Boasting an impressive 12-year tenure in the hospitality industry, Deepak brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our esteemed properties. His professional journey began in 2011 at The Leela Palace Kempinski in New Delhi, India, and he has since made significant contributions to renowned establishments in the UAE, including Fairmont Abu Dhabi, Fairmont Ajman, and Fairmont Dubai in 2021.
Deepak's achievements are noteworthy, particularly his role as the Sustainability Champion of Fairmont Dubai. Under his leadership, the hotel implemented initiatives to eliminate single-use plastic, recycled used oil, and introduced a food waste reduction system. His dedication is evident in consistently achieving the highest scores in colleague engagement surveys, audits, and cleanliness assessments for two consecutive years at Fairmont Dubai.
In addition to his ongoing success, Deepak has showcased adaptability by successfully completing pre-opening operations at Kempinski and Fairmont Ajman, as well as contributing to the renovation process at Fairmont Dubai.
Assuming the role of Cluster Executive Housekeeper for a total of 712 keys across both properties, Deepak is tasked with elevating cleanliness standards, enhancing colleague and guest satisfaction scores, and strategically boosting our rank and rating on reviews platforms.
"We are confident that Deepak's wealth of experience, demonstrated success, and dedication to excellence are a seamless match with our dedication to delivering unmatched hospitality," expressed Nawaf Hasan, Cluster Director of Operations and Acting Hotel Manager.
Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Deepak as we embark on this exciting journey together!
