The function of a Senior Role in Finance - Northern Emirates Hotels Cluster is multifaceted and involves a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the financial health and success of the designated cluster of hotels or properties. Its integral to the financial well-being of the designated cluster, and it involves a combination of strategic planning, financial management, compliance oversight, and collaboration with various stakeholders to support the overall success of the business.
• Key financial metrics such as revenue growth, profitability, return on investment (ROI), and other financial indicators specific to the hospitality industry.
• The ability to adhere to reporting deadlines and produce financial reports in a timely manner. Timeliness is essential for providing timely insights to leadership.
• The efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within the cluster. This includes evaluating how well financial transactions are recorded, reconciliations are performed, and financial statements are generated.
• The effectiveness of providing financial insights and support to senior leadership for strategic decision-making. Contribution to the development and execution of financial strategies.
• Performance during internal and external audits. This includes the ability to prepare for audits, address audit findings, and ensure a clean audit report.

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is typically required. Many organizations prefer candidates with advanced degrees such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a master's in finance.
• Possession of relevant professional certifications is often preferred. Common certifications include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar qualifications.

• Substantial experience in leadership roles within finance, including roles with increasing levels of responsibility. Previous experience in a Director of Finance or similar leadership role is often required.
• Experience in coordinating and managing internal and external audits. Familiarity with audit processes and addressing audit findings.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on advancements in financial technology and best practices in Record to Report processes.
• Experience in leading financial process improvements and change management initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
