With the consumption of packaging materials increasing in proportion with the expansion of the company\s product line and volume, a dedicated can manufacturing unit spread over an area of 6000 square meters was built and now in full operation. Smart Pack Can Manufacture LLC produces 35 million cans per month catering to Delta Food can packaging requirement.

The can factory started with a state-of-the-art coil-cutting machine and tandem coating production lines which are two coater machines in one, and the oven. The coater machines are the first of its kind in the UAE. High-speed lines of body-making machines, end-making, and 2-pc can machine are complemented with equally speedy printers and is currently exporting cans to Gulf region and the United Kingdom.

Stringent measures were built into the various processes to ensure the quality and safety of the products. Working closely with Sharjah Municipality and SAIF Zone Authorities, the company consistently adheres to the health and safety guidelines set out by the local and international regulating bodies. Delta Food products and production processes are ISO 22000, ISO 9000, HACCP, and HALAL certified.

It is suggested that Chamber should ensure special shelves for MADE IN UAE products in each and every supermarket and Hyper Markets to promote UAE manufacturers.
