Ligia Brasoveanu joins the team of DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel & Residences
Ligia Brasoveanu joins the team of DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel & Residences, bringing with her more than 20 years of Hilton experience. Originally from Romania, Ligia has worked in more than seven countries across Europe and the Middle East, with a strong background in commercial department and broad operation overview.
Ligia first moved to the UAE as hotel manager of Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort in 2016 and shortly afterwards moved as general manager of Hilton Garden Inn Ras Al Khaimah.
During her three years’ experience in the northern emirate, Ligia Brasoveanu got a sense of the UAE hospitality, market dynamics as well as overseeing a masterplan renovation. Ligia and her family spent the last three years in Estonia, where she was general manager of Hilton Tallinn Park; and guided her team through the pandemic period.
Regarding her return to the UAE, Ligia says: “I am very excited to be back in this beautiful country that I call home. I am looking forward to working with my leadership team to take DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel & Residences to the next level and continue to delight our guests and stakeholders. One of my key priority is to ensure we strengthen and develop our diverse and inclusive team, to deliver on our customer promise.”
DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel & Residences opened on 26 October 2021 and is on the way to celebrating its first anniversary.
