- Sustainable Hospitality Challenge (SHC) has announced the overall winner for this year’s competition. Francine Aclan, Emma Doherty, and Roodabeh Elavia from Cornell University took home the 2024 award for PYRO, an innovative appliance that converts food waste into renewable energy for live-fire restaurants.
