Aloft Abu Dhabi is delighted to announce the appointment of Arjun Kaggallu as the hotel’s new General Manager, effective January 1, 2025.
With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry and a solid foundation in operations, Arjun will lead all aspects of operations at Aloft Abu Dhabi. His distinguished career has taken him across leading global hospitality brands in India, Europe, and the United States.
Arjun's journey with Marriott began in 2006, and he has since held key leadership roles at notable properties, including Marriott Hyderabad, St. Regis New York, Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad, and JW Marriott Bengaluru. His deep understanding of Marriott’s ethos positions him perfectly to drive Aloft Abu Dhabi's continued success.
Before joining Aloft Abu Dhabi, Arjun served as General Manager at Novotel Hotel & Residences, Kolkata since 2022. His first General Manager appointment was at the Hyatt Centric Candolim Goa in 2019, where he showcased his expertise in strategic management and operations excellence.
Arjun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Business School Chardonne, Switzerland, complemented by an E-Cornell Certification and a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Merit Swiss Asian School. Renowned for his focus on people development, Arjun firmly believes that an organization’s greatest asset is its talent.
