Beachfront resort Alma has clinched a coveted spot in Luxury Travel Advisor’s ‘Most Instagrammable Hotel in the World’ competition.
CAM RANH, Vietnam (April. 27, 2021)Tens of thousands of readers of the well-respected United States-based website this month voted Alma as the winner of the Asia and Indian Ocean bracket, placing it in the poll's top four resorts worldwide.
Alma is an independently owned and operated resort that overlooks one of Vietnam's most pristine stretches of sand, Long Beach, on the Cam Ranh peninsula.
A stunning sunrise image of two of Alma's 12 swimming pools cascading down to the beach, with submerged sun loungers in the foreground, secured the resort's placement as one of the competition's 64 hotel finalists. The hotels were pitted against each other over six rounds of voting.
The Shore Club Turks and Caicos won the competition, with Laqua Charme Boutique named the runner-up.
Opened in December 2019, Alma has quickly become a magnet for Vietnamese celebrities including singers Quang Vinh and Bao Thy, actor Tuan Tran and golden couple Thuy Tien and Cong Vinh.
"For our 30-hectare family resort to be recognised on the world stage in this way so soon after we opened in December 2019 is remarkable and further cements the Vietnamese luxury landscapes international appeal,"said Alma's general manager Herbert Laubichler-Pichler.
