25hours Hotel One Central’s adventurous and newly appointed General Manager Mads Wollf has officially stepped into the role at the 434-room nomadic haven in the heart of the city. With a 20-year career spanning across three continents, the globetrotting Danish is a recognized industry expert with a multi-faceted outlook cultivated from working in some of the world’s most iconic destinations including Denmark, Qatar, UAE, KSA, Maldives, Japan and Indonesia.
Having started his career in the Michelin starred hospitality industry, Mads spent years honing in on his culinary skills, working his way up to an Executive Chef within an array of prominent venues and destinations. In 2016, Mads was appointed as Director of Restaurants and Bars at IHG Group, where he looked after all aspects of F&B operations, from concept development to management at Hotel Indigo Bali, Hotel Indigo Dubai, and more. In 2019, the F&B expert jumped into the role of Hotel Manager at 25hours Hotel One Central.
As the original member of the brand’s launch team, Mads was instrumental in creating the concept of the hotel and F&B venues from the group up as the Hotel Manager. His goal was to bring the vision of the 25hours brand to life in a new city to truly shake up Dubai and beyond. The sneaker-loving hotelier’s multi-dimensional expertise has played a pivotal role in the establishment of 25hours One Central’s unique customer journey and culture. As General Manager, Mads will be steering the hotel’s immersive Bedouin-inspired experience to exciting new heights as it gears up for an unmissable new season.
Mads takes leading his team very seriously and is passionate about attaining their personal and professional goals. A true people’s person, when asked about his ambitions for the new role, Mads said, “I wanted to come into this role to truly make a difference for the property and the team within it. My goal is to ensure we are doing things unlike anyone else in the city, to set a new precedent of ever-growing lifestyle hotel industry. Our tribe is one of the main reasons the hotel is successful. I wanted to make sure they have the best quality of life in and out of work, and most importantly that they are happy!” He continues, “The most important thing for me is to help people and get them to grow and achieve their goals.”
