The Role
The position will involve counseling the Human Resources Team on various employment related issues including but not limited to internal HR related policies, training, employee leaves, investigations, recruitment and terminations, and contracting with independent contractors on various employment related projects, as well as responsibility for overseeing employment-related charges, subpoenas and litigation. This position will also be responsible for various non-employment litigation management and risk avoidance, which would include but not be limited to day-to-day litigation strategy with and management of outside counsel from the pleading stage through resolution and collaborating with the Company's Risk Management Team on risk avoidance and risk mitigation. This position will also assist in other areas as needed from time to time in the Litigation and Employment Law Group, including responding to subpoenas and government inquiries, and resolving customer complaint issues and other independent projects as needed.
