The Bouncer/Door Person position is responsible for directing and administering all Nighthawk Security operations to ensure safety, well-being and phenomenal service to patrons and guests of the hotel. Working in unison with the Host/Greeter, this position secures us as the best hotel experience in the Midwest.

Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for all Nighthawk security duties and management. Security duties include, but are not limited to, patrolling the interior perimeter of the Nighthawk, identifying safety risks, responding to emergencies and acting accordingly, writing reports and assisting with flow of traffic.
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of guest areas.
Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, address, phone number and proper set up of the restaurant.
Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
Be familiar with all Hotel Kansas City services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries.
Maintain complete knowledge of daily activities and in-house group
Communicate VIP arrivals and special requests with the designated personnel for follow up.
Meet and greet guests as they arrive, check I.D.'s
Other tasks as assigned by the Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager and the Director of Food and Beverage.
