Description
Housekeeping Coordinator will be an integral part of the Dream Nashville Rooms Operations team. The primary role of this position will be the day-to-day coordination of the department.
• Answer Housekeeping Department calls
• Schedule and coordinate work assignments
• Dispatch work tickets appropriately
• Communicate with Front Office throughout the day to ensure rooms are prioritized according to arrival needs.
• Communicate all VIPs and long term stays assigned by Front Office to Housekeeping Supervisors
• Monitor vacant dirty rooms in the system and communicate with Supervisors on the floor so they can direct Room Attendants appropriately.
• Communicate Due Out room status after check out time to Front Office
• Answer calls from RAs from guest rooms reporting various needs for linen, supplies or maintenance and communicate to the Supervisors and House Attendants through Alice
• Monitor all tickets in Alice and ensure that all open tickets for Housekeeping are completed and closed in the system on a timely basis.
• Inventory supplies and notify Management when items fall below established par levels
• Assist Housekeeping Management with supply orders and monitor open orders following up with vendors as necessary
• Maintain Housekeeping office cleanliness and organization
• Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to the Hotel's standards
• Respond to all guests' concerns in a timely and professional manner
• When needed, supervise room attendants, housemen, and public attendants.
• When need, supervise an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space.
• Greet all guests with a friendly smile
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
• Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.)
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately.
• All other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications
• At least one year of experience in a hotel housekeeping department
• Experience with Opera Cloud and HotSos
