Job Description
Working as an integral member of our Reservations team, you will be a center point of contact for our guests before they arrive at our hotel.
Starting Pay Rate: $24.55
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $27.60 per hour.
Job Duties Include:
- To monitor and balance inventory to maximize revenues.
- Manage Online Travel Agency Sites
- Assist with building and managing rate and package codes, including operational flows, communicating offers to the hotel community, and testing for deficiencies
- Responsible for weekly and monthly reports as assigned
- To handle overflow of Tour reservations, with knowledge of Key Accounts and their contracts
- Entering rooming list and reservations as required
- Full knowledge and ability to promote internal outlets
- Maintain accurate records of all guest and employee requests
- Provides leadership, motivation, direction, training and support to the Reservations Sales Agents
Qualifications
- Previous Reservations and/or Front Office experience is required
- Previous Supervisory experience is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of Property Manager, Windows, MS Office, Word, and Excel an asset
- Post secondary education in Hotel Management an asset
