Job Description
-Responsible for handling incoming calls to the reservations department in a professional, efficient,friendly manner.
-The primary tasks of this person will be to answer the phone within 3 rings utilizing the appropriate greeting and following the reservations script in handling the guest inquiry for hotel space.
-Responsible for keeping accurate records of all paper transactions and will be responsible for handling advance deposits and keeping accurate records of all advance deposit.
-Upselling the property where at all possible.
-Being constantly aware and in touch with forecasted occupancies for the future.
-Being aware of group block bookings or allotments which may or may not have been utilised.
-Responsible for ensuring that every reservation contains the correct and applicable information. This will alleviate guest concerns during the check in and check out procedure.
Qualifications
-At least 1-2 years experience in Sales Department or in related field
-Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively with guests, vendors and co-workers.
-Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Word and Excel
-Working knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures.
-Be friendly, customer centric, smile and able to work in a team environment.
-Bachelor degree, Relevant degree, in business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution.
-Good command of both written and spoken English & Thai.
-Able to manage work systematically, well organized.
